Beginning students, no matter what age:
Male students are required to have a groin cup,
especially before student can spar in a tournament or at open gym. For the
female student, groin protectors and special chest protectors are available (by
special order), but not required, for the youth and adult female student who
competes in sparring.
UNIFORMS
- All students are required to wear a uniform once
they have been in class for more than one month (unless approved by Master Kris
or Master Ben). These uniforms are classic martial arts styles, roomy
construction of heavy cotton with reinforced seams to with stand the rigorous
demands of Tae Kwon Do instruction. Regular athletic clothes are not designed
for Tae Kwon Do. MOUTH GUARDS
- Mouth guards are required before the student can
spar.
Higher belts: Once you reach
Yellow Belt we encourage you to build your collection of equipment. We
recommend:
FOOT PADS
- Foot pads are highly recommended for protection of the
top of the foot. These are highly recommended by the time a student reaches
their Yellow Belt.
HAND PADS- Hand pads are highly recommended by the time a student reaches their
Green Belt.
ELBOW PADS
- Elbow pads are required for open gym and highly
recommended for ALL tournaments. OTHER EQUIPMENT- duffel bags, heavy bags, shields, targets,
patches, and other equipment are available at any time. We suggest that these
items be used as rewards for good deeds or special achievements, and as birthday
or Christmas gifts. They can be purchased at any time if in stock or by special
order. SHOES
- Limited sizes of Tae Kwon Do Shoes are in stock. Any
size can be special ordered. These are available to any adult student purple
belt or higher and youth Pooms (Junior Black Belt).

services that make a wide variety of martial arts items available. We guarantee
that we can get anything for you and can meet any retail price or at least save
you the shipping charges with our volume purchasing. Please support

large corporation or mail order company. This allows us to purchase equipment
for the gym and to keep our equipment in good condition so it can be used for
