REGISTRATION:
Every new member must complete the Academy’s Application Form prior to
entering TaeKwonDo classes and must comply with all gym rules and waiver.
If under the age of 18, a parental signature is required.
TUITION PAYMENTS:
All tuition fees are due on or before the first of each
month. Any payments received after the 7th of each month will be issued a
$5.00 late fee.
●No prorating of tuition fees is allowed unless approval is given through the
Academy.
●All monthly tuition payments should be placed in the “Payment Box” if the
instructors are teaching. On checks please use memo to write students name
and detail of payment. All cash payments must be in an envelope with the
student’s name on it.
●Family discounts are available on tuition and equipment. Please verify if
your family qualifies to receive family rates.
ANNUAL LIABILITY INSURANCE: One time per year—$10.00
MAKE-UP POLICY & ACADEMY CLOSURE:
If a student is unable to attend a practice(s), please contact the Academy prior
to absence.
●Students are eligible to attend make-up sessions. All make-up sessions
must be authorized through the Academy. Only legitimate absences will be
approved for a make-up lesson.
●Please understand that classes are held back-to-back and, at times, we are
unable to have visitation with parents. Therefore, please contact us by
phone and we will promptly return your call. If it's an issue that cannot
wait, we will do our best to address your needs.
●The Academy closes for New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving and Christmas. If these days fall on a class day, students
have the option of attending a different class.
UNIFORMS & EQUIPMENT:
Only approved uniforms and patches are to be worn in and out of the gym by
students and instructors at the Ehrmantraut Academy. All equipment,
uniforms and weapons are purchased through the Academy. Please contact us
if you wish to place an order. Payment is due upon receipt of order.
(June—-September: plain white T-shirts with the Academy logo are acceptable.)
●All TaeKwonDo practitioners should have their own protective hand gear by
Yellow Belt.
●All TaeKwonDo practitioners should have American/Korean flag patches at Green
Belt.
●A student's uniform, equipment, and person shall be well kept and clean. This
includes keeping nails trimmed and long hair tied back.
●Watches, rings, neck chains, bracelets, earrings, or any type of jewelry that
could cause harm or be broken during training must be removed.
●Uniforms are to be worn for Tae Kwon Do functions only.
●White uniforms are mandatory. Whenever straightening your uniform or
belt, turn away from the flags and the Black Belts. Color uniforms are
reserved for Masters.
Never touch the belt of a higher rank
student or instructor, it is considered an insult.
